Kayaking today after work the wind calmed down then it tried to rain so we headed back after our return we were hit with an awesome sunset.

[[posterous-content:pid___0]]We just got a Swann HD video camera so today after work Kathy McA just had to give it a try. The paddle out she used the Timelaps feature (Called “Continuous” on the cam) and on the way back she uded the video setting. Had some great wave captures and it will be hangy for our Rattlesnake Island trip May long weekend.

Easter weekend Saturday 7th. Solo Kayaking on the North/West side of the lake exploring the shoreline. Found a rolled car from 1972 on the bank behind some trees about 1/2 way down the steep cliff from the highway. Lost my eye-glasses on one of those beaches but had a great time paddling in the spring sunshine.

After-work paddle. Rain in the morning sunny with clouds in the afternoon and rain after we got back. Today I was out in just a T-shirt for the afternoon paddle but on the way back the cold front came and had to bundle up a bit. Overall was a great day to relax in the sun.

Had the pleasure of meeting a couple great ladies out paddling their Outriggers on Skaha Lake today. They wanted their photos taken. Sorry I don’t remember their names, I hope they find my blog and comment with their names so I can add to this LIVE blog post on Posterous.
Robin and I enjoyed a paddle today across the lake and back. Robin finally had an opportunity to try out his Kayak-Trip-Top. I will be attaching a video of the outriggers and our paddle later on my LIVE Blog for you all, hope you enjoy the few photos and are looking forward to the YouTube video coming.

Here are a few photos, a bit of a tease, from this evening’s paddle trip on Skaha Lake as we paddled to the Okanagan River Channel and up a little way to catch this amazing sunset. Was a beautiful day paddling, didn’t want to stop. Had so many photos I made a video. It will be ready soon. Here are some shots from today.
Found a couple lost Boeys along the way too, they were stranded on deserted rocky shorline.
